Do you have a question about the Utah Sky Trials? Submit it here.
Q. I’m not sure if my bird will be ready to fly until the day before, can I still enter as a participant?
A. It all depends if there are slots still available Friday morning. If there is a slot available, then yes. Keep in mind that you would also take whatever flight number (the order in which you fly) is left too. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis and so is selecting the flight number. You choose when you would like to fly when you register. Pre-registering helps with the administration of the Sky Trials, but sometimes our birds don’t care about that.
Q. Is the flying time slot selection based on the order of online registration?
A. Yes, time slot selection is based on the order of online registration. When you register, you also indicate your priority of flight times. The first person to register gets slotted in their first pick of flying times. The second person also indicates their first pick. If that slot is available they get their first pick. If it is not available, I move to their second pick and so forth.
